Island Adventure plans revealed, penguins calling Rockhopper by all means necessary and more! Club Penguin Times Issue # 243: Island Adventure Party

The island is getting set for a whole bunch of awesome adventures coming soon! Theres going to be something for everyone including things like Secret Forts, Nautical Games and a place that mermaids would love! Theres also going to be a scavenger hunts and some old-fashioned seafaring battles. Penguins are even starting to call Rockhopper from the Beach! The Island Adventure Party is expected to being June 18th.

Everyone knows an Adventure Party wouldn't be as fun without Rockhopper, so penguins are finding ways to signal him! Penguins will be busy at the Beach using Flares to call Rockhopper! Just like before, there will be a machine to shoot flares into the sky at the Beach in an attempt to signal Rockhopper. Penguins are also encouraged to have some loud parties at the Beach to help get Rockhopper to come. It might take a while to see Rockhopper but until then, grab some pizza from the parlor and enjoy the captain's favorite food!

That is a great question. If I could bring anything it would be my “Thinking Cap”. I always need to think hard when it comes to saving the island and also bringing a fish and squid pizza(Mmm!) would keep me from being hungry the whole time! We've heard many agents report in, wanting to know what they can do to protect Club Penguin. Starting next week, you'll receive orders - for your first WEEKLY assignment. So, are YOU ready?

In other news - many of you have asked if you're allowed to talk about the EPF. Well, since agents now have the power to invite citizens to join, you can definitely reveal you're part of the EPF. Just don't discuss any classified information (such as about a certain polar bear.)

We're seeing lots of busy agents all over the island - and the team wanted to give you an extra challenge while you're away from the island, too!

Your mission: Take a secret agent themed photo of your favorite penguin or puffle and send it in to Penguins Around the World. Be creative - You might see yours posted!And speaking of penguins and puffles, keep your eyes out for the Series 5 Pet Puffles and new 2nd series Plush Puffle Clip Ons  - you'll see them soon in stores. Last week, we asked what you and your friends were doing to help the construction at Ski Village. Red Apollo said:

Well, me and my friends are pretending to be managers! Were both agents (or are we) and were keeping all the workers stuffed on pizza! That's because we can't allow too many breaks. We've been working mainly on the Sports Shop and selling the rest of the popcorn! We've been working also on that badge-or-heart shaped thing (do I know what it is or do I not know?), selling popcorn, working on the crane, and that stone. We hope to get everything fixed up! There are lots of adventures coming up this month. So we'd like to know -  if you could only take one thing with you on an adventure, what would it be?

Well, I know this information is classified, but the hardest mission I ever solved was avalanche rescue. I was allowed to skip it though, so I moved onto the next one. Soon I was finished all the missions except that one! I decided to solve it once and for all. I went to the HQ, and solved the mission! It turned out it was easier than I thought! The trick is not to think too deeply. Be remarkable, be reliable, be ready! Good luck agents! Many of you are wondering what's coming next for agents. Well, we've been listening to your ideas on how to make the experience even better. And I'm glad to say that agents are about to get a huge upgrade!
The team's put together a ton of new stuff that will begin launching this week! Agents can expect new challenges. But first things first - we need a new HQ.

It's the last Saturday before May 25, which means it's time for the final sneak peek of our new DS game, "Herbert's Revenge!"

Many of you have now had a chance to play the new mission online, and know a lot more about what "Herbert's Revenge" is all about. I don't want to spoil the surprise for those who haven't, but I will say that the story of the "Veggie Villain" will continue in the new DS game.

For those who are worried about the future of secret agents, don't be! Though "Herbert's Revenge" is only on the DS, the team has been working on a TON of new stuff which will start launching online next week! Keep an eye on the What's New Blog for more info.

In other news - to celebrate the release of "Herbert's Revenge", there are two events being planned. One starts on May 22 at the Toys R Us in Times Square, New York. The other is on May 23 at the Disney Store in Glendale Galleria, Los Angeles.

The Medieval Party's up for a few more days, but with the new igloo designs and furniture that are available today, you'll be able to create your own quests and adventures.

We know lots of you are still questing in the Underground - exploring the mazes and discovering treasure. Here's a list of other things that you definitely need to check out before the party's over:

• Rule your kingdom at the thrones in the Night Club Lounge
• Hold a tournament at the Rink with jousting and snowball targets
• Check out the Beacon at the Lighthouse - there's a big bonfire
• The mirror at the Ski Hill tries to answer your questions
• The princess castle at the Ski Lodge - the fountain even has Koi fish
• If you go to the Gift Shop market, you'll see a special Medieval Party catalog
• The snowball throwing contraptions at the Snow Forts
• The Book Room has been turned into an old library, with scrolls everywhere
• There's a wizard's hat in the Lighthouse... have you picked up one yet?

The hardest for me was the yeti cave! I got soo confused! With everybody going a differnt dirction it made me really unsure where to go! I went up and down even with my buddies I got back to the starting line! It must have taken a day before me and my friends found the yeti cave! It was amazing we skated like we skate at the ice rink! We played until we got really tired! After we left we got yeti costumes as a award!

Last week Billybob asked us what you were most looking forward to at the Medieval Party and Matthewmdm3 said:

This year, I am looking forward to the knight’s quest the most! That was so fun last year. I remember participating in the quest, and at the end I got a surprise! I am also looking forward to the tree house and the dragon! I enjoy pretending to save the princess with my buddies! When we are done, we go to the “vault” filled with treasures and pretend to take some as a reward.

The Medieval Party 2010 will be arriving to Club Penguin this Friday.  Almost every room in the island will be decorated as this is one of the most anticipated parties of the year! Last year, Club Penguin has a quest for members. The quest was a lot of fun and a big success. With that being said, The Club Penguin team has decided to have two quest’s this year! Fortunately, We were able to get a sneak peek of one!
